Consortia to launch new contracts database

May 27, 2016

This summer, the regional HE purchasing consortia will launch HEContracts, a brand new interactive database for buyers in higher education.

The database, containing everything buyers need to know to connect them with high quality, competitive suppliers of a vast range of goods and services, will replace uniBuy.  It boasts improved ease-of-use designed specifically to help increase the take-up of collaborative supply arrangements for universities, colleges and other members of HE purchasing consortia.

Owing to low levels of demand, eMarketplace functionality will no longer be included, but the new database supports an enhanced Request for Quotation (RfQ) functionality to help buyers get the very best value from consortium supply agreements.

More details will be available soon, including details of training. Also don't miss the chance for a sneak preview of the new system at our forthcoming LUPC & SUPC Conference on Wednesday 15th June.  Book your free member place online.
