Contract Implementation and Contract Management for Stakeholders

A half day online training course delivered by CIPFA to support all staff in contracting authorities who have responsibility for making procurement decisions, tendering or contract management responsibilities, to achieve best value from contracts and help drive future efficiency savings through better contract management. The workshop is focused on securing the best commercial outcomes from existing contracts and future procurements.

  • Step by step guide to developing effective contract management.
  • Explanation of how contract management can drive performance improvements and reduce cost of delivering public services.
  • Develop an understanding how to ensure performance meets the organisation’s needs and objectives.
  • Dealing with contractual difficulties & pricing review.
  • How to introduce KPIs and service credits in key contracts, where performance is critical.
  • Manging contractual changes and developing an exit plan.
