Procurement Cycle Overview
Date: 17/09/2025 10.00 - 12.00
Location: Online
Procurement plays a vital role in ensuring organisations achieve value for money, manage risk, and build strong supplier relationships. This engaging two-hour session will introduce you to the CIPS Procurement Cycle – the internationally recognised framework that underpins effective procurement and supply practice.
We will take you through each step of the cycle, from identifying needs and developing specifications, through supplier selection and contract award, to managing performance and achieving continuous improvement. By exploring why each stage matters, you will gain a clear understanding of how structured procurement supports organisational success, compliance, and resilience.
Who should attend?
For those early on in their procurement career or stakeholders with an involvement in procurement. Whether you are directly involved in procurement or simply want to better understand how purchasing decisions are made, this session will provide valuable insights to support your role. You’ll leave with a stronger grasp of how procurement impacts efficiency, quality, and value across the organisation.
Join us to demystify procurement, strengthen your knowledge, and see how the cycle can add real value to your work.
