The course, delivered by MyCarbon, provides a qualification from the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals' (ISEP) and inclusion on the Register of Carbon Accountants and Auditors.

 

What is ISEP and the new Register of Carbon Accountants and Auditors?

ISEP is the professional body for practitioners working in environment and sustainability. Together with the Carbon Accounting Alliance, ISEP have launched the new Register of Carbon Accountants and Auditors, a groundbreaking initiative that provides a clear, credible way for individuals and organisations to demonstrate they meet industry-recognised, rigorous standards for managing carbon data effectively and ethically.  The Technical Associate Carbon Accountant (TACA) provides access to the entry level of the Register.  Future levels, currently under development, will include Registered Practitioner Carbon Accountant (RPCA) Principal Carbon Accountant (PCA) and Carbon Accountant Auditor.


What will you learn?

After successful completion of the course, you can expect to be considered able to undertake basic carbon accounting with supervision and will be eligible to join ISEP’s Register of Carbon Accountants and Auditors at Technical Associate Level.

Once completed, a learner on this course will be able to understand:

    •        The external context
    •        Goals and limitations of carbon accounting
    •        Relevant frameworks
    •        How data is used and communicated
    •        Communication, in line with global best practices.

 

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements, learners attending the course are expected to have basic knowledge and/or experience within the field of carbon.



Each course is limited to a maximum of 10 attendees.

Schedule: 5 days over 5 weeks

Venue: LUPC Office, London EC3R 8HN (2 consecutive days) & online (3 days)
