Nominet is the latest organisation to become a full member of LUPC

Nominet is the proud guardian of the .UK domain – which connects and protects over 11m domain names. It wants to create a world which is more connected, inclusive, and secure. For more than 25 years Nominet has been operating at the heart of the internet infrastructure and its understanding of networking underpins a sophisticated cyber security capability that helps protect public services in the UK and Australia from online attacks. As a public benefit company, Nominet aims to generate a surplus to invest back into its business, and fund activities that improve people’s lives through technology.
In FY23 it supported 45 social impact partners – with projects ranging from grants to fund awareness events like Safer Internet Day, through to providing thirty micro:bit computers to every UK primary school in an effort to inspire an entire generation to consider a future life in the world of technology.
