We were delighted to welcome four new members to the LUPC Executive Committee at our meeting on 17 April.

These experienced procurement leaders bring a wealth of insight from across our membership, and we’re pleased to introduce:

  • Sheena Kocherhans – Head of Procurement, Natural History Museum
  • George‑Oliver Matthews - Senior Procurement Business Partner, National Oceanography Centre
  • Rachael Littlejohns – Head of Procurement, Jisc
  • Martin Satchwell – Head of Procurement, Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB)

About the LUPC Executive Committee

The Executive Committee plays a vital role in shaping LUPC’s work. It sets our operational priorities and approves sourcing strategies for the goods and services offered through our frameworks. These strategies are developed by our senior category managers, working closely with member-led tender work parties, and are approved under the authority of the LUPC Board.

The Committee is made up of procurement professionals from our member organisations, elected by the membership, alongside LUPC’s Director and Deputy Director. Members meet four times a year and take turns to chair meetings.

Commenting on joining the Committee, George‑Oliver Matthews said:

“I’m looking forward to contributing towards the enhancement of procurement outcomes for members across LUPC.”

We’re very grateful to all Executive Committee members - new and continuing - who generously share their time and expertise for the benefit of the wider LUPC community. We look forward to working closely with our newest members over the coming year.
