Transforming Public Procurement webinars

Following Royal Assent the Government Commercial Function (GCF) hosted a series of webinars for stakeholders where they explained the final shape of the Act, looked ahead to future key milestones, and outlined the support that will be provided as we progress to go-live in October 2024.

If you didn’t manage to secure a ticket, or would like a recap on the main points, you can watch a recorded version here.

Knowledge Drops now available

The Knowledge Drops comprise a series of on-demand videos designed to provide a high level overview of the changes to the procurement regulations and are aimed at those who have regular interactions with procurement and would need some material level of understanding of the new legislation. The GCF have developed specific Knowledge Drops for contracting authorities, suppliers, and SMEs & VCSEs.

You can view and access all the Knowledge Drops and factsheets on a dedicated page on the Transforming Public Procurement webpages.

New suite of materials and videos

In November the GCF published a suite of materials to support procurement practitioners, senior leaders in contracting authorities, and suppliers. This includes the official brochure detailing all the learning and development opportunities, and a guide setting out how the new regulations will help contracting authorities to embrace innovation more. The GCF also created a series of short animations and video messages to explain and summarise the new Act.

All of the materials can be found on the Transforming Public Procurement Gov.uk webpages and the Government Commercial Function YouTube channel:
