LUPC will be running regular Q&A sessions for LUPC members to address any questions you may have around the new Procurement Act 2023 and its implementation.  These sessions will be run by Mohamed Hans of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), an expert on the interpretation of public procurement rules. There will be a theme for each session with plenty of time for members to raise any concerns or questions they have for open discussion with Mohamed.

This first Q&A session will provide an overview of the Procurement Act essentials:

• which position of readiness should you be in by now;
• what tender planning preparation should be underway (new/old regs);
• when can you start a new procurement under PA23;
• Q&A (at the time of registering, please advise of any questions or concerns you have that you would like addressed in this session).

Monthly Procurement Act Q&A sessions will follow this one.
