HEPA has extended the submission date for the annual Procurement Value Survey (PVS) to 12 February 2021.

We strongly recommend that our HE members complete the survey, there has never been a more important time for procurement to demonstrate its value and the sector’s PVS is crucial to this. The benefits of submitting the report are:

• the PVS provides you with a central place to report your data and HEPA will provide you with a consolidated sector (anonymised) report from which you will be able to compare your performance with others
• preparing data for entry, in itself, provides you with an opportunity to scrutinise the value you are getting from your existing contracts and arrangements
• reporting your efficiencies via the PVS means you are reporting in the same way as all other HEIs in England and so can demonstrate the tested method to your senior management team
• the PVS provides a way of reporting that is consistent with historic HEFCE (now OFS) requirements and will meet the needs of (anticipated) future OFS and sector reports
