To mark Human Trafficking Awareness Month this January, we would like to take a moment to salute the work of Unseen, a not-for-profit organisation, who runs a modern slavery and exploitation helpline. Here at LUPC, we are engaging with Unseen as we increase our efforts to help eradicate modern slavery in the UK.

This time last year they received:

📂 625 Cases | 185 Cases of modern slavery

resulting in 797 referrals and signposts (including NGOs for other services or support).

We are also proud to be an ongoing affiliate of Electronicswatch who work closely with civil society monitors globally, enabling public sector organisations to help protect the rights of workers in their electronics supply chains.

In addition to our affiliation with Electronics Watch, we will be widening our reach across more sectors in the UK by collaborating with Unseen.
