Responsible procurement is at the centre of everything LUPC does. Our purpose is to achieve value for money for our members in a way that not only benefits our members but also society and the economy too, whilst minimising damage to the environment.
As part of our commitment to embedding responsible procurement in all of our activity, LUPC, in collaboration with SUPC, NEUPC and NWUPC and with sector wide commitment, has developed a set of questions that can be used at framework or call off level to further investigate potential suppliers’ commitments and plans to manage their organisations and supply chains in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. You can access the questions here
This set of questions will allow suppliers to report on what they have achieved so far, what they are committing to do in the future and how this set of questions can help them to make positive changes to their organisations and demand better through their supply chains.
If you have any questions or areas you would like addressed, please contact Marisol Bernal, Category Manager, Responsbile Procurement on m.bernal@lupc.ac.uk
