The Cabinet Office has recently advised that they are planning for an October 2024 commencement of the new procurement bill, following a six month preparation period.

They are engaging with eProcurement system providers to assist them to make the changes needed to support the new noticing regime. This includes Mercell on the LUPC eprocurement framework agreement.

The Transforming Public Procurement landing page on Gov.uk is the repository for a range of information about the programme including a recording from their recent webinar series, details of their L&D package, and guidance documents to help planning and preparation, and an outline of the benefits of the new regime for suppliers.
