LUPC is pleased to publish its tenth Modern Slavery Statement (MSS) outlining LUPC's approach to identifying and mitigating modern slavery risks, actions taken in the 2023-2024 financial year, and future goals for 2024-2025.
LUPC is committed to upholding international human and labor rights standards, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the UK Government’s National Action Plan.
This statement is in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, addressing modern slavery, human trafficking, and labour rights violations in its supply chains.
Although LUPC is not legally required to publish a statement, it has chosen to do so due to its significant member spend, which is approximately £279 million. This aligns with our strategic goal of leading in responsible procurement.
All of our modern slavery statements can be found on the Responsibility & Accreditation section of LUPC’s website here.
If you have any questions about the Statement or if you would like help writing your own, please contact Mags Shapiro.
