From 1 January 2021 a new e-notification service called Find a Tender will be used to post and view public sector procurement notices.

Contracting authorities will need to publish public procurement notices through Find a Tender. This service will go live on 1 January 2021. It will replace the requirement to publish notices in the Official Journal of the European Union.

If organisations use a third party ‘eSender’ to manage procurement notices, they will be able to continue using them provided that they have confirmed they can publish notices to Find a Tender.

If an organisation does not use an eSender and/or intends to publish notices directly to Find a Tender, they will need to register with the service. This can be done now by creating a buyer’s account on Contracts Finder. All Contracts Finder accounts will automatically be given access to publish notices on Find a Tender.
